Getting
Around
There are several
ways to "click" around our site. It's fairly complex, and we understand that,
so we're providing this simple guide to bring our navigation tools to your attention.
It may be helpful to view the site map first.
Headers
There are three
distinct headers on our site. We consider this to be a primary navigation tool,
as the simple graphics will help you determine where you are in the site.
- Internet Services
has a mouse and html tags
- Publishing has
two ink spots and a registration mark
- Help sections
have an atlas and a magnifying glass
You can also use the
three links at the top of every header for site map,
feedback and home.
Location Identifiers
These are located
at the top of every page (ie: Pagetek : Getting Around as seen above). Think
of these as a road map of where you are in the site, and an easy way to backtrack
if necessary.
The gray words
represent the path you've "tracked" through, and the blue word represents your
current location. The gray words are also buttons, so just click to "go there".
Buttons
From the home
screen, you'll notice two buttons - one for Internet Services and one for Publishing.
Each one of these divisions has the same navigational buttons, which are always
down the left side of the screen.
For example, if
you clicked on "Publishing" from the home screen, the
best way to distinguish it from Internet Services is by the header graphic since
the buttons and sections are the same for both divisions.
Footers
The footers on
every page reflect plain hyperlinks for all graphical navigation or buttons
on the page. For example, there are two buttons on this page, and both are shown
as plain hyperlinks below. There are also three links on the header and the
"Get Around" graphic - all of which are referenced below.
For means of determining
where you are in the site, your current location is always "grayed" out and
unclickable.
