A Bit About
Color
A study by the
3M Corporation stated that the human eye can discern literally billions of colors
and gradations of color. The computer screen, despite several ongoing improvements,
"only" displays sixteen million colors. Photographic film reflects 10,000-15,000
colors. The average printing press reproduces about 6,000 colors.
